   Day 1

   Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha

   Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our Ngotea Distinctive Safaris team welcomes you and transfers you to your hotel in Arusha. In the evening, meet your guide for a full pre-climb briefing and gear check. Stay: Hotel in Arusha

   Day 2

   Meru Climb (1/3) | Momella Gate (1,500 m) – Miriakamba Hut (2,514 m)

   You’re driven to Momella Gate, the starting point of your trek. Today’s walk passes through open grasslands and montane forest with possible sightings of wildlife. After 4–6 hours of hiking, you arrive at Miriakamba Hut, where you’ll relax, have dinner, and overnight. Stay: Miriakamba Hut · Meals: Dinner

3. 3

   Day 3

   Meru Climb (2/3) | Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut (3,570 m)

   The trail becomes steeper today as you hike through a mix of forest and moorland zones. After 3–5 hours, you reach Saddle Hut. In the afternoon, take a short acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820 m) before heading back for dinner and an early sleep in preparation for summit night. Stay: Saddle Hut · Meals: Dinner

   Day 4

   Meru Climb (3/3) | Saddle Hut – Socialist Peak (4,566 m/14,980 ft) – Momella Gate – Hotel

   At around 2:00 am, you begin your summit push to Socialist Peak. The trail leads past Rhino Point and Cobra Point before arriving at the summit just in time for a stunning sunrise. After celebrating at the top, descend to Saddle Hut for a short break, then continue down to Momella Gate, where your driver awaits. Transfer back to your hotel in Arusha for a well-earned rest.    Day 5

   Flight Home from Kilimanjaro International Airport

   After breakfast, enjoy your last hours in Tanzania before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. Meals: Breakfast
